Be One Ministries and Fellowship holds to a standard of essential Biblical doctrines. These are taught throughout the Bible and are consistent with most if not all those groups who claim to follow Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah.
Our overriding philosophy when it comes to the topic of doctrine is as follows:
Here are the essentials of our beliefs:
Statement of Faith
Holy Bible
The Bible, consisting of the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures commonly called the Old Testament) and the later Apostolic Writings (New Testament), is the only infallible and authoritative Word of G-d. In its original writing it is inspired, inerrant, and serves as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (Deuteronomy 6:4–9; Proverbs 3:1–6; Psalm 119:89, 105; Isaiah 48:12–16; Romans 8:14–17; II Timothy 2:15; 3:16–17).
G-D
YHVH (יְהוָה), Adonai, L-RD, is the Creator of the universe and everything in it. “In the beginning, G-d created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). The Name YHVH signifies His eternal, unchanging nature and covenant faithfulness.
Divine Unity
While G-D is One (Echad, Deuteronomy 6:4), He exists in a plural oneness. This theological concept teaches that YHVH is a singular substance, eternal and indivisible, yet manifests as G-d the Father, G-d the Son (Yeshua the Messiah), and G-d the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit). (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1, John 14:16-17)
Yeshua the Messiah
G-d’s Son, Yeshua (Jesus), is fully G-d and fully man. He is eternally existent (Gen: 1:1-3, Psalm 110:1; Isaiah 9:6–7, John 1:1-2), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:30–35), lived a sinless life, and is worshiped by angels (Hebrews 1). He is the promised Messiah of Israel (Isaiah 9:6–7; 11:1; Daniel 9:20–26; Isaiah 53) and Savior of the nations. (Psalm 2; Proverbs 30:4–6; Luke 12:35–37; John 1:29–34; 3:14–18; Mark 8:29; Colossians 1:15–19; Philippians 2:5–11; Revelation 5:5–14).
Sin
Humanity is inherently sinful—“all have sinned and fall short of the glory of G-d” (Romans 3:23). Sin is lawlessness (I John 3:4), brings spiritual death (Romans 6:23), and must be atoned by the shedding of innocent blood (Leviticus 17:11).
Yeshua’s Blood
The sinless blood of Yeshua shed on the tree fully atones for our sins. His sacrifice frees all who trust in Him from death’s penalty (Lev: 17:11, 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5; 5:9; Colossians 1:20; Romans 3:10–12, 23; 5:9; John 1:29).
Redemption
Created in G-d’s image (Genesis 1:26–27), humanity fell. Our only hope is redemption through the Messiah’s atonement (Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 53; Daniel 9:24–26; I Corinthians 15:22; Hebrews 9:11–14; 28; John 1:12; 3:36). Regeneration by the Holy Spirit brings new birth (Titus 3:5; John 3:3–8). Salvation is by grace through faith—a gift of G-d (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Repentance
Repentance is turning from sin and trusting in Yeshua’s atoning work. It brings forgiveness and regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Matt 4:1, Acts 2:21; 3:19; I John 1:9).
Resurrection
Yeshua was physically raised in a glorified body on the third day. All people will one day be resurrected—believers to life, unbelievers to eternal death (Luke 24:36 39; John 2:19 21; 20:26 28; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42 44; Philippians 1:21 23; 3:21).
Sanctification
An ongoing yielding to G-d’s Word and Spirit, conforming us to Messiah’s character. Empowered by the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit), believers grow in godliness (I Thessalonians 4:3; 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18; Romans 8:29; Hebrews 2:11; Romans 12:1–2).
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The Spirit bestows diverse gifts to build and sanctify Messiah’s body and confirm the Gospel’s power. Believers are commanded to pursue these gifts, which always operate under Scripture (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11–12; Ephesians 4:16; I Corinthians 12:1–31; 14:1–40; I Peter 4:10; II Timothy 1:6; 4:14).
Heaven
Heaven is G-d’s eternal dwelling, the site of final judgment and part of the new creation (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20; 6:20; 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4; Revelation).
Hell
Unbelievers face eternal, conscious, destruction separated from G-d (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43–48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9–11; 20:12–15; 21:8).
First Coming
Prophesied in Daniel 9:24–26, Messiah first came to atone for sin (Daniel 9; Isaiah 53; Romans 3:21–31; Hebrews 9–10; John 3:16–17).
Second Coming
Yeshua will return visibly as King, gathering believers to Himself and establishing His eternal Kingdom (Matthew 24:30; 26:63–64; Acts 1:9–11; I Thessalonians 4:13–18; II Thessalonians 1:7–8; Revelation 1:7; 19:11–16).
In our fellowship, we welcome both those who already follow the Messiah and those who are still seeking truth with honest questions. To all who desire to know the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through Messiah Yeshua, we extend an open invitation: come join us as we ask, seek, and knock on the doors of heaven together.
We recognize that some doctrines are essential for eternal salvation and unity within the Body, while others can be explored through teaching, discussion, prayer, and even respectful disagreement.
At Be One, we teach on many of the foundational and practical doctrines of Scripture, including the Biblical feasts, Shabbat, water immersion (baptism), Biblical dietary principles, the Torah and its commandments—both general and specific—and much more.
It is our joy to open the Scriptures together, to learn from one another, and to be sharpened as iron sharpens iron.
